I was lucky to serve in positions that allowed me to travel for the US Government. I spent 5 years in Africa as an Associate Director for Administration in Botswana, Guinea-Bissau, and Cape Verde. In that position, I had the chance to do extensive travel throughout Africa and South America. I later served as Director of Administration for the United States Attorneys for New Mexico and lived in Albuquerque for 8-years. I have one son (Donnie), who just celebrated his one-year anniversary with his lovely wife (Aspen), and a beautiful granddaughter, Anastasia.

I have an MS in International Finance from the University of Maryland.

2022 will be my 43rd Anniversary with Alpha Kappa Alpha. It all started for me at Ohio University in Athens. There is probably not a week that goes by that I am not talking to one or all of my line sisters.
